My Best of E3 2016 List

e3-2016

E3 this year had a lot of great stuff for us to look forward to.  I know most of you probably have your favorites, but being the self-centered person that I am, I felt that I would let you all know what my personal favorite games coming out of the show are.

First up, of course, is Mass Effect Andromeda.

Everyone that knows me is aware that I love the Mass Effect games, and what was shown (which wasn’t much) looked great.  I’m still a little worried about all the departures that have taken place within this studio during the development of this game, but I’m still staying optimistic and hope that this game will blow my mind.

Dishonored-2

Next on my list is Dishonored 2.  I like stealth games when they are done right, and the first Dishonored showed that Arkane Studios knows how to make a good stealth game.  It sounds like the powers between the two protagonists will be different enough that I may just have to play this one twice.

gears-of-war-4

Gears of War 4 looks like it’s shaping up to be a great game.  I loved the other gears games with the exception of Judgement, but to be fair I didn’t give it much of a chance.  The game just looks fun, not to mention that it is definitely easy on the eyes.  Now to just see if I can get my old crew back together to play this game with me because it is going to be a day one purchase for sure.

South-Park-The-Fractured-But-Whole

Next up is South Park The Fractured But Whole.  The Stick of Truth was a great game for any South Park fan, and the new game looks like it’s shaping up to be just as much fan service.  In addition, I love the idea of creating my superhero.  The new battle system has me a little worried, but that is only because I felt the first game was so well done.  I’m just hoping this one can live up to how great the first one was.

Detroit_Become_Human

Last on my list is Detroit Become Human.  I’m a fan of the other Quantic Dream games, and this one looks to have a cool premise.  I like the idea of playing an android in a game like this.

Of course, there are a ton more good-looking games that made an appearance at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo, but these are the ones that really stood out to me.  I’m sure some of you disagree with me, so let me know what your favorites are in the comments.
